Engine Internals: Cylinder Head & Crankshaft
| Part No. | Qty | Part Name | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| 12100-KRF-B01 | 1 | Head Comp., Cylinder | Resurface flatness tolerance 0.05mm max |
| 12210-KRF-B01 | 1 | Valve, Exhaust | Check margin thickness > 0.5mm before reuse |
| 12200-KRF-B01 | 1 | Valve, Inlet | Do not swap positions with exhaust valve |
| 12251-KRF-B01 | 1 | Gasket, Cylinder Head | Single-use metal composite |
| 14100-KRF-B01 | 1 | Camshaft Comp. | Chain-driven; inspect lobe wear before reinstall |
| Part No. | Qty | Part Name | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| 13300-KRF-B01 | 1 | Crankshaft Comp. | Check runout < 0.03mm on V-blocks |
| 13210-KRF-B01 | 1 | Connecting Rod | Big-end side clearance spec: 0.1-0.4mm |
| 13010-KRF-B01 | 1 | Piston (Std.) | eSP low-friction coated skirt |
| 13111-KRF-B01 | 1 | Piston Pin | Lightly oil before install; hand-pressure fit only |
| 13115-KRF-B01 | 2 | Piston Pin Clip (Circlip) | Directional installation — see expert note below |
Field note: On the eSP short block shared with the PCX 150, the piston pin circlips must be fitted with
their opening gap 90° to piston travel, never fore-or-aft. A backward clip compresses under inertial
load on every stroke until it walks out of its groove and ejects into the crankcase, and the freed pin
gouges the cylinder wall on the next stroke, destroying the bore. Use only new clips and confirm full
seating by feel before closing the case.

Field note: This platform's painted plastic body panels become progressively brittle at the mounting tabs
after roughly three years of continuous UV exposure. Never use an impact driver on body screws, and
apply silicone grease (never petroleum-based) to rubber grommets before removal so panels can flex free
without cracking a brittle tab.
